And the nominees are… On Monday, May 18, the list of BET Award nominations were announced. Rapper Nicki Minaj and R&B singer Chris Brown led the pack with six nominations each. 
Coming in at a close second were Beyonce and Lil Wayne with four nominations each. The show airs on BET on June 28.

Kim Kardashian 
Some Like It Hot! Kim Kardashian put her platinum blonde hair phase to good use and channeled Marilyn Monroe for a shoot with Vogue Brazil. The E! reality star’s two covers for the magazine’s June 2015 body issue were released on Tuesday, May 26.
On one cover, Kanye West’s wife, who shocked the Internet when she went bright blonde this past March, dons a pair of sexy black leather gloves while reclining on a leopard blanket, showing off her ample cleavage a la the 1960s sex icon.
The second cover showcases Kardashian’s curves as she poses in a cropped turtleneck sweater and fitted black skirt, leaving her midriff and blonde locks the center of attention.
While it’s unclear if Kardashian went blonde just for the shoot, her colorist Lorri Goddard told Us Weekly in an exclusive interview at the time that it was just the right time for a “color adventure” for North West's mom.
"It's something she's said outright that she's been thinking about for a while, but the time just hasn't been right,” the co-owner of Goddard + Braff told Us of the drastic decision to go platinum. The process, which took nearly four hours, was a “special, creative one for the whole team,” Goddard added. “[It's] a really glamorous, rebellious, sexy, and chic color. And as you can see, she wears it very well."

Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill 
Meek Mill may be right by Nicki Minaj's side, but despite widespread rumors, the two stars are not engaged. Us Weekly got an exclusive first look at Meek Mill's new cover story interview with The Fader, where he sets the record straight once and for all about potential wedding bells in the couple's future.
With Minaj joining him for much of the interview, Mill, 28, told the mag in its first summer music issue that the stunning 15-carat diamond ring that he gave the star is simply not an engagement ring. 
"It's definitely real," the "Amen" performer told The Fader's contributing writer Will Stephenson about his relationship with Minaj, 32. "But it ain't really time to get married yet. We’re still learning each other, feeling each other out."
Rumor spread that the two musicians were engaged last month, when the "Anaconda" rapper shared a photo via Instagram of the massive rock from her boyfriend. As fans went into a frenzy over Mill and Minaj's future as husband and wife, the stars stayed mum on their romantic status.
The Philadelphia native needed to clear up the speculation with one family member, however, as he told The Fader that his grandmother was convinced he was engaged because "whatever she sees on TV, she believes."

Mill also came clean to rapper T.I., who serves as a mentor to the rising star. The ATL star congratulated the two on their engagement at a restaurant, The Fader reports, prompting Mill to respond, "I ain't engaged."

"You never asked her, 'Will you be my girlfriend?' But she is your girlfriend," T.I. reportedly shot back. "You may not have asked her, 'Will you marry me?' But you are engaged... I've said my part, as long as you know what’s going on."
While Minaj and Mill may not be officially engaged, the "Starships" performer does intend to get married before long. 
"[I'm afraid] I'll become so consumed with work that I'll forget to live my personal life to the fullest," she told Complex last November. "If I’m done with my fifth album and I don't have a child by then, no matter how much money I have, I would be disappointed, as a woman, because I feel like I was put here to be a mother. I have definitely put off the wife thing because I don't want people in my business. I'd rather not do anything that's going to be on paper but I definitely will be married before I have my baby. I want to make sure I do it in that order. I've always felt like that since I was young; my mother always put that in my head."

89-Year-Old World War II Veteran Scores Touchdown During Alumni Scrimmage

On April 25th, Kansas University held its annual Jayhawk alumni scrimmage game. In attendance this year was 89-year-old Bryan Sperry. Sperry has had one of the most incredible lives. He began his football career at the age of 17 when he started to play for Kansas University. However, this career was put on hold when World War II began. He served as an infantryman in one of the most notrious and bloodiest battles in World War II, Battle of the Bulge. He was able to return to the pigskin in 1946, where he found himself ultimately becoming a starting wide receiver. Sperry was even a player in the 1947 Orange Bowl.
During the scrimmage, the elderly alumni was given a pass and made his way to the end zone. The other players on the field cheered him on and feigns tackles, giving him a celebratory hug once the run was complete. Sperry’s smile and his quote – “That was fun; I didn’t know if I could run” is enough to inspire anyone. If you need something uplifting in your life, this is it.

Imagine this: you are a guy and you are out for a walk in the park and you walk up to a hot girl. The guys are excited to see this girl and they are happy to help her out, as she is lost and needs some directions. As they are giving directions, another guy walks by and “bumps into her,” which causes her to drop all the papers in her hands. What happens next will shock you!
Apparently a company out there makes real-looking balls, except they seem to droop to the ground when this girl bends over! She bends over to pick up her papers and out they come and these guys are all shocked. They don’t know what to do next and some of them just walk away and take her papers with them!
It is funny to see their reactions, even if the balls are overly exaggerated. Check out the prank here!
